Western Suburbs, IL, May 28, 2012: A series of programs commemorating Memorial Day will be presented by the Robert E. Coulter, Jr. Post 1941 of La Grange throughout the western suburbs on Monday, May 28, 2012.
The day's begins with the memorial service at Lyons Township High School (north campus) at 8:30
AM. There will be a bell ceremony honoring those La Grange area residents who gave their lives in service to our country from the civil war to the present
time.

Following this service, there will brief memorial services at the following locations:
· Parkholm Cemetery - 9:15 AM

· Lyonsville Cemetery - 10:00 AM
· St. John's Cemetery - 10:45 AM
· Hodgkins Memorial site - 11:00 AM
· Countryside Memorial Park - 11:45 AM
Note: Times are approximate
The final ceremony will be at the American Legion Post Home at 900 South La Grange Road at approximately 12:00 (noon). There will be a guest speaker from the Illinois Army National Guard. Those Post members who reported to the Post Everlasting will be remembered at that time.
The various communities are encouraged to attend any or all of these services.
