Citizens' Council of La Grange

The Citizens' Council of La Grange is a non-partisan, volunteer organization dating back to the 1930s, which serves the residents of La Grange by seeking, evaluating and recommending candidates for the the Village, Library and Park District Boards. The Citizens' Council is not a caucus or a political party. The Council strives to promote and maintain the best possible government for all La Grange citizens, comprising representative from each of the 11 voting districts with in La Grange. It members are active through our community and work to ensure the Village's continued success through open, honest and intelligent governance. The Council will be slating candidates this November for the April 2011 local elections. Candidate applications are due by October 13, 2010 at 5 p.m. See website for more details.
