Election 2013: Voter Registration Deadline, Early-Voting Period Nears

Head over to La Grange Village Hall by Tuesday to register to vote in the April 9 Consolidated Election.

Registrations will be accepted at the Administration Office on the first floor from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays. If you’re not sure whether you’re registered, check your status and polling location on the Cook County Clerk’s website.

Bring two forms of identification, at least one of which must have your current address. You don’t, however, need a photo ID.

Early voting runs from March 25 through April 6. The nearest early-voting site is Hodgkins Village Hall, 8990 Lyons St., Hodgkins. Find other early-voting locations on the Cook County Clerk’s website.

If you’ll be out of town April 9, apply for an absentee ballot at Village Hall or with the Cook County Clerk.
