Why Are You Seeking Office?: I have had the privilege to be President  for the last eight years.  I want to continue to move forward with the implementation of much needed capital projects and fresh ideas for the future of our community, all while remaining fiscally responsible. It is rewarding to be able to help people in our community and to ensure the quality of life that we all deserve and expect.

What Will Be Your Single Most Important Priority If You Get Elected?: One of the most important priorities is the continued improvement to our infrastructure. Restoring and repaving our roads is a continuing priority.  This year we will see the construction of our water main along LaGrange Road.  We also plan to conduct a number of sewer point repairs as well as complete sewer lining to extend the life of our sewer system.

What Sets You Apart From the Other Candidates (if applicable)?: I have a strong passion for the present and future of our village.  I have been President for eight years, and during that time we have had continued growth in the state of our village.  We developed and approved a new Comprehensive Plan (2006), 5-Year Plan (2006), Emergency Preparedness Plan (2007), Municipal Code (2009), Zoning Code (2011), Storm Water Management Plan (2011) & Commercial Revitalization Plan (2012).  As importantly, I take governing very seriously and share the values of our residence—safety, compassion and integrity.

What Are The Other Issues You Plan To Address In This Position, And How?

-develop a balanced budget by continuing to operate within our means, strengthening our local economy through our Commercial Revitalization Plan

-continue to build on the recruitment and retention of business by selling our village to prospective businesses and working closely with our current businesses to maximize their ability to succeed

-I am a successful businessman, and I know about fiscal management; however, we must continue to operate within our means in order to endure and sustain a viable community.

Please Add Any Other Information Pertinent To Your Campaign:

I have served my village in many capacities, both civically and culturally:

                  -District 102 School Board (1999- 2007)

-Zoning Board of LaGrange Park  (2000 -2005)

-President, Village of LaGrange Park (2005-present)
