What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?: The biggest single issue facing the Village of La Grange Park is our blighted business districts. My number one priority will be to improve these business districts in an effort to attract new businesses.

Why are you seeking office?: I feel that I can offer the residents of our village the leadership that has been lacking over the past eight years. Our village has major issues with blighted business districts, run down streets and infrastructure, and a huge budget shortfall. It is my goal to revitalize the business districts in an effort to increase revenue that the village can use to balance it's budget and improve streets etc. The current village president seems to only want to have studies done or form committees to look at issues without committing to anything. I plan to get to work starting on day one.

What sets you apart from the other candidates (if applicable)?: I am a man of action. Our current village board president only wants to delay the real work that need to get acomplished by commissioning studies or forming committees. When the studies are finished nothing has been acomplished in the "real world". I want to get some "shovels in the ground" right away. I also consider myself the type of person that can get along with other people. The current board president has already had one trustee resign citing "divisiveness", the three trustees that aould have been incumbants have chosen not to run. This says a lot for Discipio's character.

What are the other issues you plan to address in this position, and how?: Our balooning village budget defecit is a major concern not only to me but to all of the residents that I speak with. I plan to address the defecit through a close look at the budget along with improvements to our business districts.
