ComEd, Stone Avenue Station on Agenda at Tonight's La Grange Board of Trustees Meeting

ComEd representatives will be present to talk about power outages in June and July. Village Manager Robert Pilipisyzn will also present on plans to renovate Stone Avenue Station.

Tonight's Village of La Grange Board of Trustees meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Village Hall Auditorium, located at 53 S. La Grange Rd.

ComEd representatives discuss outages

Kathleen Maier, external affairs manager at ComEd, will be on hand to talk about recent power outages in June and July. Power outages following two storms resulted in widespread damage to power lines in the Chicagoland area. Residents will also get a chance to ask representatives questions.

As part of the village manager's report this evening, Village Manager Robert Pilipisyzn will be holding a "mini-workshop" presentation on plans for the renovation of Stone Avenue Station.

Lt. Chris Noel of the La Grange Police Department retires

Lt. Chris Noel of the La Grange police department retired on Aug. 1 this year. Tonight the board will be issuing a resolution thanking him for his years of service to the village. Noel began his job at the police department in 1981.
