Woman Warned When Undone Clothing Exposes Skin

Here is a list of items taken from the La Grange/La Grange Park police blotter

La Grange police were called to Caribou Coffee, 30 N. LaGrange Road, at about 12:22 p.m. Oct. 5 for a woman who was wearing undone clothing that exposed her body. The woman was walking around with her shirt unbuttoned, exposing herself, and her jeans were undone. Police said it appeared her clothes were old and not holding up well. They told the 48-year-old La Grange Park woman not to return unless she is properly dressed.

Unmarked Squad Vandalized

Vandalism to a Cicero police unmarked squad car was reported on the 100 block of north LaGrange Road at about 3:21 p.m. Oct. 2. The plastic housing from the spotlight was damaged, police said.

Two Taken to Hospital

A 67-year-old man was taken by Fire Department ambulance to Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital from the dock area of Grayhill, 561 W. Hillgrove Ave., where his hand was in machine at about10:50 a.m. Oct. 3.

A 60-year-old Berwyn woman who reported feeling dizzy in Trader Joe’s, 25 N. La Grange Road, was taken by Fire Department ambulance to MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn at about 8:01 p.m. Oct. 2.

Passport Found

A passport was found in Kiwanis Park, Elm Avenue and LaGrange Road, at about 8:42 p.m. Oct. 3 and La Grange police were trying unsuccessfully to contact its owner, who had addresses listed in la Grange Park and Mundelein.

Bikes Lost, Found

A La Grange resident reported Oct. 4 that her daughter lost her bicycle either at Gilbert Park, 41st Street and Gilbert, or in front of her house.  It was described as a Schwinn pink girl’s bicycle having a white seat with flowers and a slight rip.

A Mongoose Ravage boy’s 20-inch bicycle was found at Gilbert Park at about 4:15 p.m. Oct. 5 and turned over to police, who found and contacted the owner.  

No Sign Posting

La Grange police on Oct. 5 contacted a man who posted a sign at 47th Street and La Grange Road to sell his motorcycle and told him to remove it from public property. The man said he would comply.
