Whiskey, Purses and Phones Among Items Reported Stolen to Police

Purses Stolen at Panera
Wallets were taken at about 1 p.m. Oct. 3 and at about 2 p.m. Oct. 4 from two purses left unattended at Panera, 439 N. LaGrange Road, according to La Grange Park police. Each loss was less than $500.
Whiskey Stolen

Six bottles of Jack Daniels whiskey were stolen Oct. 5 from the Jewel-Osco, 507 E. Woodlawn Ave., by a man who fled in a dark-colored pickup truck, La Grange Park police said.
Phone, iPod Stolen

A black Samsung phone and an iPod were reported Oct. 9 as stolen out of a home on the 700 block of south Ninth Avenue. La Grange police investigators said they are working on a lead.
Purse Stolen
A woman told La Grange police at about 8:45 p.m. Oct. 8 that she was shooting video in front of Francesca’s restaurant, 75 S. La Grange Road, and put down her bag. Five minutes later, the bag was gone.
Bikes Stolen, Found
A father reported his son’s Mongoose, cream-colored boy’s BMX-type bicycle was stolen Oct. 10 outside the La Grange Public Library, 10 W. Cossitt Ave.
A blue, boy’s bicycle was found on the 200 block of East Avenue at about11:09 a.m. Oct. 10.
