Two females tried to steal a wallet from a shopper's unattended purse at Jewel, 507 Woodlawn Ave. Police said the shopper confronted the thieves, who fled when she grabbed her wallet back.Thursday, December 12

Invalid License Arrest
Police charged Rafael Huerta, 20, of Chicago, with driving without a valid license or insurance and speeding during a traffic stop in the 600 block of La Grange Road around 12:30 a.m. He was given a Jan. 15 court date and released.

Man Arrested on Warrants for Controlled Substance Possession, Trespassing During Traffic Stop
Police charged Randall Forrest, 60, of Cicero, with driving on a suspended license and without insurance and two warrants for controlled substance possession and trespassing during a traffic stop at the intersection of Scottdale and Stonegate avenues around 4 p.m. He was given two January court dates and released on bond.
Invalid License Arrest
Police charged Claudio Sanchez, 38, of Melrose Park, with driving without a valid license and expired registration during a traffic stop in the 800 block of La Grange Road around 1:10 a.m. He was given a Dec. 30 court date and released.
Tuesday, December 10
Man Charged With Violating Protection Order
Police charged Marc Ruffino, 34, of Addison, with a violation of a stalking/no contact order around 8 p.m. Police said Ruffino was in a parking lot, looking into a woman’s living room window. When the woman told him she did not want to see him, he said he was picking up some of his things. He told police he wanted to pick up his I-Pass, socks and a phone charger from the woman. He was charged with violating an order of protection and held for bond court.

Suspended License Arrest
Police charged Jermaine Williams, 40, of the 400 block of Homestead Avenue in La Grange Park, with a warrant for driving on a suspended license during a suspicious person report around 12:30 p.m. He was given a Dec. 30 court date and released on bond.
