Tow Truck Driver Who Ran Stop Sign Ticketed
La Grange Park police also ticket man for speeding.
A Downers Grove man was ticketed after a La Grange Park police officer saw him disobey a stop sign at Sherwood Road and Woodlawn Avenue at about 8:30 a.m. Nov. 9.
Alex R. Holzkopf, 33, of 4532 Bryan Place, was driving a 2003 white Ford Ranger pickup truck owned by Nick's Towing in Burr Ridge, police said. He was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign and driving while his license is suspended.
At about 8:15 p.m. Nov. 8, a La Grange Park officer stopped a 2011 white Toyota sedan that police said was speeding while going south in the 1200 block of north LaGrange Road.

Royace K. Atkins, 23, of 1208 W. Madison St. in Maywood was ticketed for driving while his license is suspended and speeding-going 53 mph in a 35-mph zone.
