Sunday, July 21
Battery Arrest
An Oak Lawn man was arrested for battery after he allegedly punched someone in the face around 1:50 a.m. at a birthday party in La Grange Park.
Witnesses told police Demetrius Ryan, 20, returned to the party after he was asked to leave to apologize for causing a disturbance. When trying to apologize, one of the men at the party shoved Ryan, so Ryan put him in a headlock and held him on the ground, police said.

Ryan told police the man had punched him in the face first and that he didn’t have any injuries because he’s been in martial arts since he was little and has tough skin, police said.
He was processed on a battery charge, given an Aug. 14 court date and released on bond.

Friday, July 19
No Valid License, Insurance
Police charged Rodolfo Chavez, 53, of Chicago with speeding, driving without insurance and driving without a valid license around 3:45 a.m. in the 1500 block of La Grange Road.
He was processed, given an Aug. 28 court date and released on bond.
Thursday, July 18
Suspended License
Police charged Sean Markel, 32, of Chicago with driving on a suspended license around 6 a.m. near the intersection of 31st Street and Brainard Avenue. He was processed, given an Aug. 28 court date and released on bond.
Wednesday, July 17
No Valid License, Insurance, Registration
Police charged Richard Bulich, 54, of Chicago with driving without a valid license or insurance and driving with suspended and expired registration around 4:10 p.m. in the 1100 block of North La Grange Road.
He was processed, given an Aug. 14 court date and released on bond.
Tuesday, July 16
No Valid License
Police charged Gloria Hernandez, 34, of Chicago with speeding and driving without a valid license around 5 a.m. near the intersection of La Grange and Garfield.
She was processed, given an Aug. 28 court date and released on bond.
Friday, July 12
No Valid License
Police charged Javier Erazo, 28, of Chicago with driving without a valid license around 8:20 a.m. near the intersection of La Grange Road and Harding Avenue. He was processed, given an Aug. 14 court date and released on bond.
