Storage Unit Broken Into in Condominium Building
Here is a list of iems taken from the La Grange police blotter.
A resident of a condominium building on the 0-100 block of Sixth Avenue reported on July 18 that someone cut off the lock of a storage unit, but nothing was taken.
Fraudulent bank activity
Fraudulent activity was reported July 19 on a bank account of St. Cletus Church in La Grange. No more information was available from police.

Bike stolen at Field Club
A Schwinn boy’s blue bicycle was reported stolen at about 4:19 p.m. July 19 at the Field Club, 1300 W. 47th St. Its value was less than $300.

Gas smell
A smell of natural gas was reported at about 4:42 p.m. July 18 outside a business in the 500 block of west Hillgrove Avenue.
Stolen lighter returned
A lighter that had been stolen from a business in the 0-100 block of south LaGrange Road was turned in to La Grange police July 18 by a teen who had been given the item to hold onto a week previously. The lighter was to be returned to the shop.
Two honest people
Someone who had found a Blackberry phone in the 0-100 block of south LaGrange Road brought it in to the La Grange police station at about 5:33 a.m. July 19. The finder contacted the phone owner, who was going to come pick it up.
Someone who found a credit card in the 0-100 block of south LaGrange Road brought it at about 11:36 p.m. July 18 to the La Grange police, who will return it to its owner, a Hinsdale woman.
