Teens break light with snowballs
Two teenagers throwing snowballs broke a streetlight in the 500 block of South Kensington around 12:45 a.m., La Grange police said. The teens’ mother told police she would bring them by the station Wednesday after school.

Hypodermic needles found
Three hypodermic needles were found around 4:54 p.m. alongside a home in the 200 block of South 9th Avenue, police said. Officers disposed of the needles.
Gang graffiti
Gang-related grafitti was found around 9:47 a.m. on the second floor lobby stairs at the downtown parking garage, 80 South 6th Avenue.

Marijuana possession
Henri Joyal, 19, of the 4500 block of Clausen in Western Springs, was arrested around 11:59 a.m. near the intersection of 53rd and La Grange, police said. He was charged with cannabis possession.
Saturday, March 2
Purse stolen from Dinico’s
A black, medium-sized purse is believed to have been stolen from Dinico’s, 42 S. La Grange Rd., between 11-11:45 p.m. on March 1, police said. The woman left the restaurant without her purse after setting it on a chair. Her mother reported the possible theft the next day. The purse contained a tan and flowered wallet, transcripts for college, other paperwork and a debit card, police said.
Identity theft
Someone closed a Bank of America credit card account belonging to a man in the 700 block of Brighton around 3:33 p.m., police said. The person who closed the account did it from his home phone number and had the correct answers to security questions. The incident was recorded as identity theft.
Teens hiding in bushes
Officers were called to investigate a report of three teens hiding in the bushes around 10:02 p.m. at 7th and 51st near La Grange Bible Church, police said. The teens were playing hide and seek and advised to go home.
