Wallet Stolen at Jewel
A victim reported that she had her wallet containing credit cards and cash stolen while shopping at Jewel-Osco, “possibly while her shopping card was left unattended.” The loss was valued at less than $500.

Ruse-Entry Burglary
Two men entered a home on the 1200 block of Blanchan Avenue and stole jewelry while the homeowner was distracted by a third accomplice using a “construction ruse,” police said. No force was involved. The amount of the theft was not reported.

Illegal Driver I
Luis F. Quesada, 24, of the 9900 block of Montana Avenue, Franklin Park, was stopped for lacking a front license plate at the corner of La Grange Road and Garfield Avenue at 11:25 a.m. and was charged with driving with a suspended license and with no proof of insurance, police said.
Illegal Driver II
Juvencio M. Juarez-Ortiz, 39, of the 4300 block of N. Spaulding Avenue, Chicago, was stopped for speeding on the 1300 block of East 31st Street at 5:30 a.m. and charged with driving without a valid license, police said.
Illegal Driver III
Alejandro Iniguez-Sanchez, 25, of the 1600 block of North 39th Avenue, Stone Park, was stopped for lacking a rear registration plate light on at the corner of La Grange Road and Oak Avenue at 4:27 a.m. and was charged with driving with a suspended license, police said.
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 14
Illegal Driver IV
Sergio E. Cabrales, 24, of the 4100 block of Wenonah Avenue, Stickney, was stopped at the corner of 31st Street and Brainard Avenue at 9:33 p.m. for driving with only one headlight and was charged with driving with a suspended license, police said.
