Police Find 3 Grams of Marijuana in Laptop Carrier After Traffic Stop

Here is a list of items taken from the La Grange/La Grange Park police blotter.

A Berkeley man was charged with possession of cannabis—3 grams of marijuana—that La Grange Park police said they found in the front compartment of a laptop carrier that was one of three items the suspect wanted to take with him after a traffic stop Sept. 2

Charles A. Robinson, 40, of 1504 Morris Ave. in Berkley, IL, also was ticketed for no front plate and driving while his license is suspended.

A police officer was northbound on the 600 block of LaGrange Road and reported seeing a white Chevy Venture minivan, being operated as a taxi, going south without a front plate. Police did not list a taxi company.

Police said Robinson asked that he be allowed to take a laptop, cell phone and laptop carrier with him to the police station.
