POLICE BLOTTER: Teens Brazenly Toss Prop Money from Car

SATURDAY, APRIL 12

‘We’re In the Money’

Two teens in an older Mitsubishi were throwing fake hundred dollar bills out the car window near Tilden and Shawmut around 10:12 April 12. Car was last seen heading toward Brookfield.

Yelling In Walgreens

An employee reported a woman screaming in Walgreen’s at 2 N. LaGrange Road on April 12, her second time in the store yelling. Police confronted the woman at LaGrange and Ogden. She admitted to police having a verbal altercation with the store manager. Police told her not to go back to the store.

A Phone Booth???

Police investigated a suspicious white male creeping around Calendar and Ashland around 11:14 p.m. April 12. The subject said he was looking for a phone booth. Police sent him on his way.

Every Party Needs A Pooper

Police broke up a loud party around 11:44 a.m. April 12 in the 0-20 block of South LaGrange Road. The partiers said they were “closing up for the night.”


FRIDAY, APRIL 11

13 Gunshots

Police responded to a report of about 13 gunshots in the in the 900 block of South 6th Avenue around 9:16 p.m. April 11. A resident in the 900 block of South 6th told police he was outside all night but didn’t hear anything. Countryside Police advised they heard an M80go off a resident in the 1000 block of 7th heard fireworks going off around the time of the complaint.
