FRIDAY, JULY 27
Bicycle Stolen at Stone Avenue Train Station
A La Grange man reported at about 5:38 p.m. that his white Genesis mountain bike was stolen at the Stone Avenue train depot, 625 W. Burlington Ave.
Water Main Breaks on Edgewood Avenue
La Grange Public Works was called at about 7:40 p.m. for a water main break on the 100 block of north Edgewood Avenue.

Scam Total is $11
A scam was reported at about 1:44 p.m. that netted $11.92 at a restaurant on the 0-100 block of south La Grange Road. Police had no further information July 31.
Theft Report Delayed
La Grange police are investigating a delayed report of a theft on the 300 block of Seventh Avenue. No more information was available July 31.

THURSDAY, JULY 26
GPS Stolen Out of Locked Car
A global positioning system device and other items were taken between 2:45 and 4 p.m. out of a locked car parked on the 100 block of north La Grange Road.
Car Vandalized in Latest Incident
A car parked on the 1000 block of east 50th Street was reported keyed at about 9:05 p.m. The car was targeted in a similar incident occurring a couple weeks ago, according to the owner.
Outdoor Lights Damaged at Home
Outdoor lights were damaged at a home on the 100 block of Blackstone Avenue, police learned at about 8:27 a.m.
Bike Stolen at La Grange Road Train Station
A La Grange man reported at about 7:28 p.m. that his men’s Cannon red, white and black bicycle had been stolen at the La Grange Road train station, 25 W. Burlington Ave.
Cicero Man Gets 3 Tickets
La Grange Park police stopped a Cicero man on the 1700 block of 29th Street after an officer said he saw the man not wearing a seat belt. Emmanuel Ramirez, 36, was ticketed for no seat belt, expired registration and driving while his license is suspended.
TUESDAY, JULY 24
Girl Treated When Car Hits Tree
An 18-year-old La Grange girl was taken by ambulance to Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital after the 2007 Cadillac Escalade she was driving struck a tree on the 800 block of south Waiola Avenue at about 11:14 p.m. She told police she was reaching to retrieve a cell phone when the car veered left, went off the road and struck the tree. The driver was cited under village ordinances for damage to village-supported property.
MONDAY, JULY 23
Both Drivers Ticketed After Crash
Both drivers were ticketed after their vehicles collided at 47th Street and Brainard Avenue at about 1:24 p.m. Lynn Beczak of La Grange wad ticketed for failure to yield while turning left. Tom Fletcher of Park Ridge was ticketed for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
