Officer Fashions Staircase of Garbage for Raccoons

Here's an item from the La Grange blotter.

On July 24 at 10:37 a.m., La Grange police received a report of raccoons trapped in a dumpster behind 30 Spring Ave. The man calling said he was afraid the raccoons would jump up and bite the next person who went to the dumpster. A police officer piled up garbage inside so the raccoons could get out.
