Multiple License Arrests Reported in La Grange

La Grange police reports, Dec. 24-Jan. 6

Monday, January 6

Speeding, Operating Without Insurance 

Police cited Anthony Gillespie, 30, of Chicago, for speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle after he rear-ended a car at the intersection of Bluff and Elm avenues around 5:25 p.m. No one was injured, police said.

Failure to Yield 

Police charged Elizabeth Wheeler, 38, of the 1300 block of 41st Street in La Grange, with failure to yield after an accident at the intersection of Waiola and Maple avenues around 11 a.m. No one was injured.

Suspended/Revoked License 

Police charged Slobodan Brnjik, 29, of Lyons, with driving on a suspended/revoked license during a traffic stop at the intersection of Ogden and East avenues around 2:40 a.m. He was given a Feb. 18 court date and released.

Suspended Registration

Police charged Lovisa Davis, 55, of Bolingbrook, with driving with suspended registration near the intersection of 6th Avenue and Harris Street around 7:45 a.m. She was given a Feb. 7 court date and released.

Improper Backing 

Police cited a 17-year-old La Grange Highlands girl with improper backing after she backed into a van near the intersection of Brainard Avenue and Rte. 34 around 11 a.m. The driver of the van, a 50-year-old La Grange man, was transported to La Grange Hospital.

 Friday, December 27

Suspended/Revoked License 

  • Police charged Tristan Wright, 28, of Bellwood, with driving on a suspended/revoked license during a traffic stop at the intersection of La Grange Road and Elm Street around 6 p.m. He was given a Feb. 26 court date and released.
  • Police charged Ignacio Zacarias, 22, of Cicero, with driving on a suspended/revoked license during a traffic stop at the intersection of La Grange Road and 47th Street around 12:15 p.m. He was given a Feb. 26 court date and released.
Thursday, December 26

Suspended/Revoked License 

Police charged Donald Krisik, 31, of Chicago, with speeding and driving on a suspended/revoked after an accident at the intersection of La Grange Road and Ogden Avenue around 3:15 p.m. He was given a Feb. 26 court date and released.

Suspended Registration 

Police charged Adam Chodora, 24, of the 1400 block of Ostrander Avenue in La Grange Park with driving with suspended registration during a traffic stop at the intersection of 48th Avenue and La Grange Road around 11 a.m. He was given a Feb. 7 court date and released.

Woman Hits Pedestrian, Charged With Failure to Yield 

Police charged Linda Haan, 65, of Oswego, with failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk after she hit a 64-year-old Glen Ellyn man in a crosswalk at the intersection of La Grange Road and Harris Avenue around 1 p.m. Police said Haan hit the man while making a left turn onto southbound La Grange Road, when he had a walk signal. No one was injured.

Tuesday, December 24

Suspended/Revoked License 

Police charged Brian Weber, 60, of the 0-100 block of Richmond Avenue in La Grange Park, with driving on a suspended/revoked license during a traffic stop at the intersection of Dover and Ogden avenues around 8:30 a.m. He was given a Feb. 7 court date and released.
