Here is a list of items from the La Grange/La Grange Park police blotter.

A 47-year-old Brookfield man was brought by his family to Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital after his motorcycle skidded out of control and he was thrown to the pavement while trying to avoid a car on Ogden Avenue west of La Grange Road at about 6:52 p.m. June 18.

The man initially refused transportation to the hospital by Fire Department ambulance.

The man was riding his 2011 Harley-Davidson west in the curb lane when a vehicle pulled out of the north end of the Walgreen’s lot and slightly into the eastbound lane of Ogden Avenue. That other car never crossed the double yellow line, police said.
