More Than 60 Stolen Items Recovered When 3 Arrested in La Grange

Here is a list of items taken from the La Grange police blotter.

La Grange police recovered more than 60 stolen items—clothing, global positioning system devices, iPods and other small electronic devices, when they arrested an adult and two teenage boys seen going through vehicles on the 1000 block of south Eighth Avenue at about 12:33 a.m. Aug. 17.

Marco Ciardullo-Pulido, 21, of Countryside, was charged with theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A 17-year-old boy from La Grange, and a 16-year-old boy from Hodgkins were also charged with theft.

La Grange police are investigating whether the three can be connected to thefts in La Grange and surrounding communities, according to Police Chief Michael Holub.

Police received a call of three males going through vehicles near the pool and garage area of the building. The three were found on the 900 block of Eighth Avenue, police said.

Police said they are unsure whether the three are connected with a break-in the night of Aug. 16 of a car parked in the driveway of a home on the 1000 block of south Ashland Avenue.

A GPS device also was stolen during the night of Aug. 16 out of a vehicle parked on the 0-100 block of south Stone Avenue.
