Warrant arrests

Terrel V. Holt, 22, of the 1400 block of Hobson in Rantoul, was arrested on two felony warrants out of Champaign County around 1:08 a.m. in the 700 block of La Grange Road, police said. Officers stopped Holt for speeding and charged him with obstructing identification, operating a vehicle with no proof of insurance and driving while license suspended. His passenger, Antonio D. Howard, 23, of the 3900 block of Adams in Bellwood, was arrested on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear on DUI charges and a Cook County warrant for conditional release violations for theft charges.

Saturday, March 9

Suspended license

Marcus B. Gowie, 25, of the 800 block of South 20th Avenue in Maywood, was arrested around 5:10 p.m. near the intersection of 31st Street and Community, police said. He was charged with driving with suspended registration, license suspended and no proof of insurance.

Friday, March 8

Suspended license

Ronnie L. Drinkwater, 25, of the 4200 block of Carroll Street in Chicago, was arrested around 1:02 a.m. in the 1200 block of La Grange Road, police said. He was pulled over for having only one taillight and charged with driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance.

Tuesday, March 5

Marijuana possession

Ninamarie Mc Cann, 33, of the 3800 block of Lawn in Western Springs, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of DuPage Countyaround 1:50 a.m. near the intersection of 31st Street and Robinhood, police said. Officers said they smelled fresh marijuana coming from the car when they stopped her after a random license plate check brought back an expired registration. When asked about the smell, McCann told police she had “an eighth” of marijuana in the center console. Police said they found a bag of a leafy green substance in that location. McCann was charged with possession of cannabis, driving with a suspended license and expired registration.

Sunday, March 3

Warrant arrest

Daniel Palacios, 24, of the 1800 block of Wessels Court in St. Charles, was arrested on a Will County warrant around 4:39 p.m. near the intersection of La Grange Road and 31st Street, police said. The warrant was for failure to appear, according to the report. Palacios was also charged with driving with a revoked license, no proof of insurance and no front plate.
