Man Taken to Hospital Days After Being Hit By Truck

Here is a list of reports taken from the La Grange and La Grange Park police blotters.

A 41-year-old La Grange man was taken Sept. 14 by La Grange Fire Department ambulance to Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital when he reported severe pain from being hit by a truck a few days previously. He told police his pain medication ran out. The police shift report did not state whether the accident happened in La Grange. Police contacted Sept. 16 had no further information. 

Unmarked Police Car Hit

A “very minor” scuff was reported on a La Grange unmarked police car when it was tapped from behind by another vehicle at Hillgrove and Brainard avenues at about 11:37 a.m. Sept. 14. No injuries were reported. No tickets were issued.

Reckless Driver Reported

La Grange police said they could not locate a reckless driver reported driving west on 47th Street from LaGrange Road at about 11:07 p.m. Sept. 15.

Summit Man Ticketed

Brian M. Malinowski, 21, of Summit was ticketed for no lights when required and driving while his license is suspended or revoked for a mandatory insurance violation. La Grange Park police stopped his northbound car on the 700 block of north La Grange Road at about 11:35 p.m. Sept. 12 for not having his headlights activated.

Hit-and-run Reported

An Indian Head Park woman reported at about 8:13 p.m. Sept. 15 that her car was struck while parked at Hillgrove and Dover avenues in La Grange, and the vehicle has scratches on it.

Local Man Ticketed

Vladan Stujkovic, 26, of La Grange was ticketed for driving while his license is suspended or revoked and one other unidentified traffic  violation during a traffic stop Sept. 14 in La Grange.
