Man Shot in Head in Lyons Gun Shop Accident
A man was shot in the head in an accident at a firing range in Lyons, according to media reports.
ABC7 News is reporting a man was shot in the head at a shooting range in Lyons.
Police responded to the scene about 2 p.m. They told ABC they believe the man accidentally shot himself.
According to CBS Local, police found a person on the floor with a serious head injury when they arrived at Midwest Gun Shop in the 8500 block of Plainfield Road.
Lyons police were not immediately available for comment.
A Midwest Gun Shop employee who did not want to give his name said the business will be closed for the rest of the day.
