Someone pulled down part of the fence protecting the Gordon Park construction site around 5:20 a.m.

A man reported someone stole his daughter’s car keys from her purse at D’Inico’s, 42 S. La Grange Rd., around 5:50 p.m.

Teen Cited for Drag Racing

Countryside police charged a 17-year-old boy with reckless driving after someone reported two cars for drag racing from Countryside into La Grange around 4:15 p.m. 

Suspicious Activity Reported 

A man reported suspicious activity, possibly drug-related, in the 0-100 block of Washington Avenue after seeing “high traffic” going through the alley and people exchanging items from car to car.

Man Battered by Coworker

A man reported he was battered by his coworker who threw something cold at his face and broke his glasses in the 300 block of Washington Avenue around 4:30 p.m.

Cell Phone Stolen

A woman reported someone stole her daughter’s cell phone from her backpack at Lyons Township High School sometime on Tuesday.

Tuesday, January 14

Car Part Stolen 

A woman reported someone stole the catalytic converter from her car while it was parked in the 100 block of South Brainard Avenue.
