Man Causes Downtown Ruckus Twice in One Day
A 20-year-old man was reportedly saying he was going to shoot people at Palmer Place around 3:52 p.m., police said. Officers spoke to the man and sent him on his way. The same man is believed to have been harassing customers outside Blueberry Hill earlier that day.
'Lucifer' Harasses Priest
A 31-year-old homeless man who called himself “Lucifer” was harassing a priest at Emmanuel Episcopal Church around 8:33 a.m., police said. Officers sent the man on his way.

Hit and Run ... Not too Far
A maroon vehicle with a blue top collided with another car near 47th and East around 12:47 p.m. before driving away, police said. The maroon vehicle was stopped in Countryside.

Man Hits Car
A woman said a man in front of Wild Monk struck the top of her car around 11:45 p.m., police said. The incident didn’t cause any damage.
Garages Graffitied
Several garages were spray painted with graffiti in the 700 block of South La Grange Road, police said.

Couple has Sexy Time in Pier 1 Parking Lot
A man and woman were engaging in a sex act in the parking lot by Pier 1 around 11:20 p.m., police said. They were gone when officers arrived.
Wrong Apartment
A woman in tiger-striped pants drunkenly banged on the sliding glass door of an apartment in the 900 block of South 8th Street around 2:38 a.m., police said. She ran away with two other men. The trio, all drunk, mistakenly thought it was an apartment they had been in earlier and were returning to get the woman’s phone charger, police said.
Kids Leave Nasty Note
Kids left two water bottles and a vulgar note on a lawn in the 200 block of West Harris, police said. The resident said he repeatedly has issues with the same group of teenagers.
Swimming in the Fountain
Two teens were reportedly swimming in the fountain next to Village Hall around 5:58 p.m., police said. A local ordinance citation was issued to one of them.
Man Threatens Air Force One
A 51-year-old Lyons man was talking on the phone about blowing up Air Force One at the La Grange Road Train Station around 6:58 a.m., police said. He almost got hit by a train while walking along the tracks, police said. Officers spoke with the man and determined the threat wasn’t credible.
Railroad Gate Hit and Run
Someone knocked the railroad gate into the road at 47th and East Avenue around 8:47 a.m., police said.
Roving Wrought Iron
A resident of the 300 block of South Kensington Avenue said someone keeps moving a wrought iron border from around her flowerbed to her backyard, police said.
