LT Student Brings Knife to School
Police charged a 16-year-old Lyons Township High School student with unlawful use of a weapon after a kitchen knife was found in his backpack.
Police arrested the student about 3 p.m. at the school after someone reported the student had shown him the knife the previous Friday, police said.

Suspended/Revoked License Arrest
Police issued a citation to Patrick Mahoney, 56, of Chicago, for driving on a suspended/revoked license during a traffic stop in the 0-100 block of Harris Avenue about 4:30 p.m. He was given a Dec. 31 court date and released.
Woman Hospitalized for Possibly Swallowing Phone
Police responded to an ambulance call for a 46-year-old Cicero woman who may have swallowed her phone at First United Methodist Church, 100 W. Cossitt Ave., about 9:15 p.m. She was transferred to La Grange Memorial Hospital.
Friday, November 15
Driving Without a License
Police charged Sonja Gillespie, 46, of Normal, with driving without a license during a traffic stop at the intersection of Ogden and Catherine avenues about 1:30 a.m. She was given a Dec. 23 court date and released.
Saturday, November 16
Graffiti
Police found graffiti that was possibly gang-related on a telephone pole at the intersection of Cossitt and Tilden avenues about 10:20 a.m.
