LT Student, 14, Charged With Stealing Cell Phone

LT Student Charged With Theft

A 14-year-old female juvenile from Countryside was charged at 7:45 a.m. with the theft of a cell phone from a gym locker at Lyons Township High School's south campus that took place on Sept. 20 at 8:40 a.m., police said.

The phone has not been recovered. The LT student charged was referred to juvenile court.

Bike Snatched from Public Rack


An unknown person stole a $250 men's bike that was located at the public bike rack near the Western Springs train station in the 900 block of Burlington Avenue between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., but was not locked, according to police.
