La Grange police reports from Sept. 11-13 include men arrested for verbally abusing officers at a crash scene, a cat fight on Bluff and some friends that didn't let their friend drive drunk.

Car Chasing Kids Reported on Blackstone  

A man in the 300 block of South Blackstone Avenue reported suspicious activity after he saw three kids jump the fence into a yard, running from a white car that was chasing them about 8:20 p.m. Police said the car was driven by a man, about 20, wearing a blue hat and a red shirt. The four-door car had rust and a black stripe, police said.

Thursday, September 12

Cat Fight on Bluff 

A man reported a fight outside 315 Bluff Ave. about 11 p.m. Police found the two women involved in the fight tugging and pulling on each other while a man tried to separate them. One of the women told police the other woman punched her. The other woman told police her extensions were pulled out and the other woman spit in her face. The man told police he'd been drinking with one of them. No one was arrested or charged. The woman with spit in her face refused medical attention.

Friends Really Don't Let Friends Drive Drunk 

A woman reported she heard female voices yelling and possibly fighting in the parking garage in the 0-100 block of South 6th Avenue about 12:40 a.m. Police talked to two women in the garage, who told police they didn’t want their drunk friend to drive home, and were going to drive to her home in the 0-100 block of Stone Avenue to make sure she got home OK.

Belligerent Man at Sprint Store

A woman reported a man for acting belligerent and yelling inside the Sprint Store at 115 N. La Grange Road about 1:20 p.m.

Bones in Yard?

A woman reported she saw bones lying in the grass near the northwest corner of Franklin and Bluff about 2:15 p.m. Police were unable to find them.
