TUESDAY, FEB. 19

iPod Stolen

A complainant reported at 8:47 a.m. that an iPod had been stolen from a car on the 300 block of South 6th Avenue. Police did not provide an estimated value.

MONDAY, FEB. 18

House Egged 

A resident of the 400 block of South Stone Avenue reported at 8:18 p.m. that her house had just been egged by a group of about half a dozen teenagers. Police were unable to locate the offenders.

Heroin Supplier in Neighborhood?

Broadview Police told the La Grange Department at 4:51 p.m. that a La Grange woman, whose former heroin supplier was recently arrested by Broadview officers, fears retribution and has seen the man’s vehicle in her neighborhood. The man is typically armed, according to the report. A special watch was entered.

Illegal Driver I

Krystal G. Ramirez, 29, of the 4100 block of Maple Avenue, Lyons, was stopped at the corner of East and Cossitt avenues at 12:50 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Illegal Driver II

Eric P. Balciunas, 24, of the 300 block of East Roosevelt Road, Villa Park, was stopped at the corner of Madison and Cossitt avenues at 12:05 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Illegal Driver III

Christopher D. Pollard, 36, of the 2400 block of West Martindale Drive, Westchester, was stopped at the corner of La Grange Road and Hillgrove Avenue at 8:08 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

SUNDAY, FEB. 17

Devilish Gang Graffiti

Gang-related graffiti was reported in the lobby of the parking garage on the 0-100 block of 6th Avenue at 7:17 p.m. The graffiti was reported as a “devil’s horn with crown and pitchfork.”

Arrested on IDoC Warrant

Thomas T. Marchello, 30, of the 1400 block of North Monticello Avenue, Chicago, was stopped at the corner of La Grange Road and Harris Avenue at 4:17 p.m. and arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections. Police were unable to say what the warrant was for.

SATURDAY, FEB. 16

Guy Offers Pot in Garage

An anonymous complainant reported at 4:48 p.m. that he and his friends were approached at the parking garage on the 0-100 block of 6th Avenue by a male with piercings, orange hair and a purple hoodie offering marijuana. Police were unable to locate anyone by that description.

Identity Theft I 

A resident of the 200 block of South 8th Avenue reported a case of identity theft at 11:37 a.m. There was no financial loss suffered by the victim, police said. They did not provide any more information. 

FRIDAY, FEB. 15

Illegal Driver IV

Theodus Spencer, 28, of the 400 block of East 133rd Street, Chicago, was stopped on the 500 block of South Stone Avenue at 11:53 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license, police said.

Identity Theft II 

A Cicero resident reported at 5:35 p.m. a case of identity theft that occurred on the 100 block of Kemman Avenue. There was no financial loss suffered by the victim, police said. They did not provide any more information.

Kid Threatens to Burn Elm Park

A resident reported that her 10-year-old son, while playing in Elm Park at around 4 p.m., was approached by a teenage boy who said, “I don’t like this park; I’d rather see it burned. I’m going to light it on fire.” (Elm Park was previously subject to a suspected arson in 2012.)

THURSDAY, FEB. 14

Bank Account Missing $4,000

A La Grange Park woman reported at 3:56 p.m. that her Chase Bank account is missing $4,000. Police could not provide any more information at this time.

Weirdness on Waiola 

A resident of the 400 block of Waiola Avenue reports that there have been numerous suspicious incidents on the block in the past month, believing that someone has been looking in her windows and leaving food on neighbors’ windowsills and porches. She said a suspicious person was seen around the house. Police entered a special watch for the area.
