K-9 Unit Makes Teen Cocaine Bust in Indian Head Park

Indian Head Park police and a Willowbrook canine unit responded to a noise disturbance on Tuesday morning and made multiple drug arrests.

An officer of the Indian Head Park Police Department responded to a noise complaint in a Village condominium parking lot at about 2:25 a.m. Monday morning and, after smelling an odor of marijuana from a car, ended up charging a Countryside 18-year-old man for possession of cocaine (and marijuana and drug paraphernalia) after help from a Willowbrook canine unit, The Doings Western Springs reports.

An Oak Park 19-year-old man was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and a boy and a girl of unspecified towns were issued citations for violating curfew.
