Homeless Man Makes Threat at Police Department: La Grange Police Blotter

Threatening Texts
An employee at a business on the 0-100 block of South La Grange Road reported at 1:04 a.m. receiving threatening texts and messages. Police are investigating and have opened a case file.
Hit-and-Run on North Catherine
A hit-and-run was reported at 12:35 a.m. on the 200 block of North Catherine Avenue. According to a crash report, a resident’s car was struck in the rear right side by a vehicle, which then left the scene.

Graffiti on Shawmut
Graffiti was reported at 9:53 p.m. on the back of a building on the 500 block of Shawmut Avenue. The amount damage the graffiti caused was not estimated.

Vehicle Vanishes, Reappears
A business on the 300 block of Washington Avenue reported that a white 2000 Ford van owned by the company was moved without permission. The vehicle was later located around the corner on the 700 block of East Elm Avenue. The keys were missing but nothing was removed and the van was not damaged.
FRIDAY, DEC. 14
Illegal Driver I
Vicuna Baudelio, 46, of the 800 block of South La Grange Road, was stopped at the corner of Brainard Avenue and Country Club Road at 1:11 p.m. and charged with driving without a valid license, police said.
Man ‘Wants to Hurt Someone’
A 43-year-old homeless man walked into the La Grange Police Department at 9:14 p.m. advising that he “had the feeling he wanted to hurt someone,” according to shift reports. The man was transported to La Grange Adventist Memorial Hospital.
THURSDAY, DEC. 13
Credit Card Fraud
A resident of the 300 block of West Harris Avenue reported at 11:48 a.m. that her credit card number had been used fraudulently. The loss value of the fraud was estimated at about $750.
More Credit Card Fraud
A resident of the 200 block of 8th Avenue reported to police that two companies had advised her that credit cards had been opened in the name of her deceased husband. Police opened a case file. No more information was available at the time of report.
Illegal Driver II
Thomas A. Wayne, 47, of the 4400 block of West Ainslie Street, Chicago, was stopped at the corner of 47th Street and Bluff Avenue at 4:20 p.m. and charged with driving with a revoked or suspended license, police said.
Illegal Driver III
Elliot Medina, 36, of the 0-100 block of South Spring Avenue, was stopped on the 300 block of Burlington Avenue at 11:53 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license, police said.
