Fireworks Set Off at Party on 7th
A group of people were reported for setting fireworks off in a driveway at a birthday party in the 1000 block of South 7th Avenue about midnight.
Woman Arrested for Stealing Champagne
Police charged Melissa Crawford, 43, of Chicago, with felony retail theft after she stole three bottles of Champagne from Walgreen's about 9 a.m.

Someone stole a necklace from Alexander Collections, 126 Calendar St.
Persistent Garage Sale Shopper Warned
A woman in the 900 block of South Brainard Avenue reported a woman she dealt with at her garage sale earlier that day, who left her five voicemails and five text messages in a span of 10 hours, police said. Police told the woman to stop contacting the resident and warned she would be arrested if she refused to comply.

Someone reported a bunch of kids were running in the alley behind Nickson’s and Casa Margarita banging on windows. About 7:20 p.m.
