A man reported a Citgo employee attacked him two weeks ago.

'Aggressive' Pit Bull Without Leash

A man reported he saw an aggressive pit bull in the area near the intersection of 41st Street and Brainard Avenue without a leash around 4 p.m.

Saturday, January 25

Failure to Yield, Driving Without Insurance

Police charged Jessica Panek, 20, of Westmont, with failure to yield and driving without insurance after an accident at the intersection of La Grange Road and Cossitt Avenue about 3:50 p.m. Police said Panek struck the front of a Toyota traveling north on La Grange Road while turning left onto Cossitt Avenue. No one was injured, police said.

Man Reports Teen Throwing Cans 

A man reported three male teens for throwing cans near the intersection of Maple and Peck avenues around 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, January 22

Felony Theft

Police charged Kevin Dolan, 38, of Glendale Heights, with felony theft after he stole a phone on display from the AT&T store at 1 N. La Grange Rd. Police said Dolan ran out of the store toward Corner Bakery, where he was arrested. He was charged with theft over $500, a Class 3 felony and transported for bond hearings.

Domestic Violence at Ogden, La Grange

Multiple people reported a man in a black Ford Explorer who was allegedly beating a woman near the intersection of La Grange Road and Ogden Avenue about 9:50 p.m. Both the man and the woman admitted to shoving each other. The man was taken to the police department to arrange for transportation, police said.

Driving Without Insurance 

Police charged Steven Hill, 46, of the 600 block of South 8th Avenue in La Grange, with driving without insurance after an accident at the intersection of 7th Avenue and 51st Street about 7 a.m. No one was injured.

Failure to Reduce Speed

Police charged Cal Cline, 22, of McHenry, with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a three-car collision at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and La Grange Road around 4 p.m. Police said Cline rear-ended a Chevy Impala, causing the car to hit a Nissan that was stopped at a light on Ogden. No one was injured.

Accident With Injuries 

Police cited a 34-year-old Chicago man for speeding after an accident with injuries at the intersection of La Grange Road and Ogden Avenue about 7:30 p.m. Police said the man rear-ended a Ford Fusion that was stopped at a light on Ogden. The driver of the Ford was taken to La Grange Memorial Hospital for treatment. She was in good condition upon arrival, according to the report.

A woman in the 900 block of South Catherine Avenue reported male teens for soliciting around 6:15 p.m.
