Explicit Photos Sent to La Grange Teen

A woman in the 800 block of East Avenue reported an 18-year-old female from West Virginia sent explicit photos to her 17-year-old son. Police said the teens met on a meet-and-greet website. Police called the woman to tell her to stop sending the photos, according to the report. 

Suspicious Activity

A woman in the 200 block South La Grange Road reported suspicious activity after she saw a man taking photos of her house and other homes in the area around 3:45 p.m.

Bike Stolen

Someone stole a mountain bike from a home in the 200 block of South Brainard Avenue. A resident reported she thought she saw a man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt in her garage around 2:40 p.m., but did not report anything missing. Her husband later reported the stolen bike. Police said the detached garage was unlocked at the time of the theft. 

Sunday, December 1

Woman Reports Drunk Neighbor

A woman in the 900 block of South 8th Avenue reported her neighbor was intoxicated and yelling in the hallway around 5 p.m. Police told the 42-year-old man to keep it down.

Tires Dumped on Park District Property

Someone dumped four tires on park district property at Bluff Avenue and 47th Street around 8:20 p.m. 

Saturday, November 30

Teens Shooting Fireworks

Two 18-year-old males were sent on their way after police saw them shooting off fireworks near the intersection of 7th and Harris avenues around 4:15 p.m.

Battery Arrest

Police charged Joseph Stasiulis, 49, with domestic battery after he reportedly hit his girlfriend multiple times near the intersection of La Grange Road and Ogden Avenue around 10 p.m.

Stasiulis, who is homeless, was taken to bond hearings Dec. 1.  

DUI

Police charged Winston Williams, 51, of Plainfield, with driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and La Grange Road around 12:50 a.m. 

Friday, November 29 

Neighbors’ Dispute

A woman in the 300 block of Bluff Avenue reported she was being harassed by her neighbors around 11:20 a.m.

Thursday, November 28

House Egged

Someone egged the side of a home in the 100 block of North Ashland Avenue between 3 and 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28. The residents reported someone had also egged their home a week earlier, police said. 

Rock Thrown Through Window at Chipotle

A man reported someone threw a rock through a window at Chipotle, 40 N. La Grange Rd., around 7:10 a.m.

Wednesday, November 27

Driving Without a License

Police charged Terrence Hyland, 60, of Orland Park, with driving without a license at the intersection of Madison Street and Cossitt Avenue around 11:50 a.m. He was given a Feb. 18 court date. 

Tuesday, November 26

Callers Report Fighters in Alley

A caller reported 10 kids, one wearing boxing gloves, were behind Al’s Char-House around 6 p.m. Another caller reported seeing four males wearing masks and boxing gloves and fighting behind 38 S. La Grange Rd. around 6:40 p.m. Police did not locate the individuals, according to the report.
