DUI at 47th and 9th, Mysterious Banging on Window: Police Blotter

Suspended license

Rosendo I. Juarez, 56, of the 100 block of East Avenue in La Grange, was arrested around 7:47 a.m. near the intersection of Calendar and Washington, police said. He was charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Mysterious banging on window

A woman reported that someone banged three times on the window of her home in the 800 block of South Madison the previous evening, police said. Her daughter found headphones in the yard, but no one saw anyone around the home. The woman said she would call police immediately if it happens again.

DUI at 47th and 9th

Stephanie R. Cole, 40, of the 200 block of North Catherine Avenue in La Grange, was arrested around 12:18 a.m. near the intersection of 47th Street and 9th Avenue, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Tuesday, April 23

Suspended license

Andres Montes, 35, of the 6000 block of South Lenzi in Hodgkins, was arrested around 4:16 p.m. at Sedgwick Park, police said. He was charged with driving with a suspended license and without insurance.

Stolen motor bike

A man said his “crotch rocket” was stolen from the back of his truck, which was parked near the intersection of 6th and Cossitt, police said.
