Drivers Ticketed for Speeding, No Proof of Insurance, Suspended Licenses

Here are traffic-related items from the La Grange and La Grange Park police blotters.

A 21-year-old Countryside woman received three traffic tickets after La Grange Park police said her 1996 Ford Taurus was going 46 mph in a 30 mph zone while southbound in the 1000 block of north LaGrange Road at about 1:03 a.m. March 6. Britney M. Sims was ticketed for speeding, driving while her license was suspended and for no proof of insurance.

No tickets were issued after the rear of a 2007 Cadillac driven by a 69-year-old Westchester man collided with the rear of a 2003 Honda Accord driven by a 58-year-old La Grange man in the rear parking lot at 56 S. LaGrange Road at about 12:51 a.m. March 7, La Grange police said.

A Pontiac and a Toyota collided at about 5:27 p.m. March 8 at LaGrange Road and Ogden Avenue. No more information was available on the police shift report.

Vanessa Zayas, 26, of Chicago, was ticketed for driving while her license is suspended or revoked and one other unidentified traffic violation when La Grange police stopped her car at 47th Street and Park Road at about 9:53 a.m. March 8.

A La Grange Park police officer stopped a gray 2002 Ford Windstar van without a lit license plate that was going south in the 800 block of north LaGrange Road at about 4:28 a.m. March 3. Anthony L. Moore, 33, of Chicago was ticketed for no plate light and driving with a suspended driver’s license.
