Dozens of Squad Cars to Fill LT Parking Lots This Week

Officers from local departments will be conducting training exercises at the Lyons Township High School North Campus.

No need to be alarmed this week if you see the parking lot at Lyons Township High School North Campus crawling with squad cars.

The La Grange Police Department is hosting officers from throughout the area for three days of training sessions at the school during students’ spring break, according to a school release.

Although officers will not be using live ammunition during the training, some exercises could involve starter pistols, so prepare yourself to hear a pop or two.
