Police responded to a call about a possible domestic issue where one of the subjects was dressed as Peter Pan on Oct. 26.

Cantankerous Customer Argues Over Lottery Ticket
Police responded to a call at News Stand, 4 W. Burlington Ave. about 4:25 p.m. Oct. 28 because a customer was arguing about a lottery ticket.

Realtor Gets 'Surly' With Manager
A property manager in the 0-100 block of Beacon Place reported realtors were causing trouble about 11:20 a.m. Oct. 22 after a realtor forced entry to a unit.   The manager told police the realtor was “surly” with her when she was reproved for using force to get into the unit. 

An Odd Spot to Store Needles
Police responded to a call about possible drug activity at the library about 3:15 p.m. Oct. 25, where they found a hypodermic needle in the periodicals section between two magazines.

A Man Who Thinks he Knows Kids' Curfews
A man reported a group of 12- to 13-year-old kids hanging out in a parking lot in the 0-100 block of Cossitt Avenue about 8 p.m. because he thought they were too young to be out.

A Different Kind of Relief at Yoga Studio
Paul Balich, 21, of North Riverside, was cited for public urination Oct. 18 after police saw him urinating in the entry way of a yoga studio in the 7400 block of Madison Street about 2 a.m. He was given a Dec. 4 court date and released. 

Group Makeup Grab at Deals
Someone reported seeing six women steal cosmetics from Deals, 6405 North Ave., between 10 and 10:15 a.m. Oct. 28.

Who Steals a Baby Stroller?

Someone stole an unattended stroller from the sidewalk in the 900 block of Lake Street between 4 p.m. Oct. 21 and 7 a.m. Oct. 23. The total estimated loss is $450, police said.

Teaching Kids the Wrong Lesson
A 43-year-old Oak Park man was charged with retail theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after he stole about $57 in Taster's Choice coffees from CVS in Forest Park when he had an eight-year-old boy with him on Oct. 17.

WESTERN SPRINGS

Burglar Needs an Energy Boost 
An unknown burglar forced entry into a detached garage in the 4700 block of Fair Elms Avenue via a service door and stole a portable generator valued at $800 some time between 12 a.m. and 8 a.m., police said. The incident was reported at 10:40 a.m.
