Cars of Father, Daughter Collide in La Grange

The cars of an apparent father and daughter collided at Gilbert and Ogden avenues at about 3:57 a.m. May 11, according to La Grange police.  The two have the same last name and live at the same address in Broadview, according to the police report. The front of a 2008 Grand Prix driven by a 71-year-old man collided with the rear of a 1999 Mercury driven by the 41-year-old woman. No tickets were issued.

Hit-and-run reported

A 26-year-old Chicago man told La Grange police that an unknown vehicle fled after hitting his 1991 Toyota in the BP Amoco lot at LaGrange Road and Ogden Avenue between 3:15 and 3:20 p.m. May 12.

Two trucks collide

A 1998 Mack truck driven by a 28-year-old Chicago man collided with a 2010 International Durastar truck parked in a lot in the 400 block of Shawmut Avenue at about 1:53 p.m. May 10.

No tickets in 5 accidents

No tickets were issued after the front of a 2010 Ford Escape driven by a 56-year-old La Grange Park woman collided with the left front of a 1998 Toyota Corolla driven by a 20-year-old La Grange Park man at LaGrange Road and Cossitt Avenue at about 12:05 p.m. May 15.

A car driven by a 66-year-old Brookfield man was stopped on Hillgrove Avenue at La Grange Road when a 49-year-old La Grange woman was backing out of a parking space and hit it at about 9:06 p.m. May 10, according to La Grange police.

A 2006 Ford driven by a 17-year-old La Grange boy collided at about 9:26 p.m. May 14 in a parking lot at 48th Street and 10th Avenue with the 1993 Chrysler LeBaron driven by a 20-year-old La Grange woman.

A rear-end collision was reported at about 8:40 p.m. May 12 at Maple Avenue and Park Road between a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 45-year-old La Grange man and a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer driven by a 34-year-old Elgin man.

The front rear of a 2008 Toyota Prius driven by a 16-year-old Western Springs boy collided with the 2008 Chevrolet driven by a 64-yearold Countryside man at LaGrange Road and Ogden Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. May 10.

Car hits pothole

A man told La Grange police May 16 that his daughter drove over a hole in the road in the 400 block of Bluff Avenue and may have damaged her vehicle. Public Works put a sawhorse over the hole and photos were taken and forwarded to the Village Hall.
