Car Speeds Through Front of Blue Eyed Jack
A foot slip caused a car to crash into Blue Eyed Jack in La Grange on Tuesday night, police said.
A driver whose foot slipped off the break pedel and onto the gas drove into the front of Blue Eyed Jack, 106 W. Burlington Ave. in La Grange on Tuesday night at about 6:56 p.m.
La Grange police said that the business was closed at the time of the accident. No injuries were reported and police said the driver was fine. One citation was issued, but the night shift commander was not sure what the citation was for.
Blue Eyed Jack sells handmade gifts and decorative items, as well as services for wedding decor, photo styling and store planning, according to the store's website.
