Police reports in the area that were a little more bizarre and disturbing than usual this week.

LA GRANGE

School Bus Hits Stop Sign
A school bus hit a stop sign at the intersection of Cossitt and Elmwood avenues about 3:15 p.m. Nov. 11. No one was injured.

Upsetting the Apple Tree
A woman in the 400 block of Catherine Avenue reported Nov. 10 that cut her apple tree limbs for the third time in a month.

Woman Reports Teen Urinating on Benches
A woman reported a group of teens who were urinating on benches in Gilbert Park about 4:30 p.m. Nov. 8. Police were unable to find the teens.

Pants-less Man in the Street
Someone reported a man who was in his underwear in the middle of the street in the 1000 block of West Hillgrove Avenue about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 5. 

RIVER FOREST

Man Kicks Woman in Chest
Daniel Wedrall, 49, was arrested for battery after he kicked a woman in the chest when she refused to give him money. Police said Wedrall, who is homeless, approached the woman on Harlem Avenue about 12:35 a.m. Nov. 10.

An Expensive Sleepover in River Forest
A resident in the 7200 block of LeMoyne Avenue reported a friend may have stolen more than $500 in electronics from his home after spending the night Nov. 5. The report is under investigation.

FOREST PARK

CTA Conductor Awakes the Beast, Gets Punched in the Face
Police charged Elvin Perez-Santiago, 29, with battery after he punched a CTA train conductor in the face about 2:30 a.m. The conductor told police Perez-Santiago, who was highly intoxicated, hit him after he tried to wake him when the train stopped in Forest Park, police said. He was processed, given a Dec. 24 court date and released and transported to Loyola Hospital. 

Man Apologizes Profusely for Urinating in Public
Forest Park police charged Samuel Watson, 29, of Oak Park, with public urination after they saw him urinating behind a dumpster near the intersection of Berkhardt Court and Madison Street about 2:20 a.m. Nov. 9. Police said Watson said, "Sorry, sorry!" when he saw police and immediately zipped up his pants. He was given a Jan. 7 court date and released. 

Chicago Man Who Stole 17 Lotion Bottles Found With Crack Pipe
Forest Park police charged Roderick Davis, 35, of Chicago, with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after he stole 17 bottles of lotion from CVS, 7216 Circle Ave., about 5:15 p.m. Nov. 6. Police said Davis, who was wanted on a warrant out of Kane County for possession of a controlled substance, had a crack pipe in his pocket. He was held on bond. 

Man Steals Snowblower That Was Just Lying Around
Police charged Claude Turner, 46, of Chicago, with theft of lost property after he took a snowblower that was on the sidewalk next to a car wash at the intersection of Roosevelt and Marengo avenues about 4:15 a.m. Nov. 4. He was processed and held on bond. 

WESTERN SPRINGS

LT Reports Facebook Threat
A 15-year-old female juvenile from Hodgkins was charged with disorderly conduct at 11 a.m. Nov. 7 after a Western Springs police investigation confirmed she published a post on her Facebook page in which she threatened to damage Lyons Township's south campus, alarming school officials that reported the post, police said. 

The statement did not pose an "imminent or credible danger" to anyone, police said. The juvenile was released to a parent and referred to juvenile court.

"Our investigation confirmed the juvenile had no intention on causing damage to any part of the school at any time," deputy chief Brian Budds said in an email.
