Minor Mishap
A minor accident involving a bus and La Grange Department of Public Works vehicle was reported at Bluff and Maple avenues at about 7:32 a.m. April 5. A police officer said no report was necessary. UPDATE: On April 7, Ryan Gillingham, director of La Grange Department of Public Works, said a school bus hit one of the department's trucks but no damage was reported to either vehicle.

A woman living in the 0-100 block of north Edgewood Avenue told La Grange police at about 6:55 p.m. April 5 that a neighbor’s dog was on her property and taunting her. Police said it was unknown where the dog lived.

A 16-year-old boy was brought to Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital at about 7:08 p.m. April 5 after he injured his arm in the gymnasium at the Lyons Township High School north campus, 100 S. Brainard.
Catching a Nap
A man seen in a black Lincoln parked in front of the fountain at La Grange Village Hall, 53 S. LaGrange Road, at about 6:55 p.m. April 5 was found to be sleeping and OK.
Varmint Buffet
Raccoons were being attracted to garbage being left on the curb in the 400 block of Benton Avenue, La Grange police learned at about 4:49 p.m. April 5. A police officer left a safety sticker.
License Lost
A La Grange woman reported at about 9:19 a.m. April 5 that her driver’s license was lost or stolen.
Fender-Bender Reported
A driver walked in the La Grange police station at about 7:57 p.m. April 5 to report being in a traffic accident at about 6:30 p.m. at Ogden Avenue and Beacon Place. Police have the license plate number of the other vehicle.
Fire Department Answers Alarm
The La Grange Fire Department provided mutual aid for a fire alarm at the Bethlehem Woods assisted-living building, 1529 Ogden Ave. in La Grange Park, at about 3:32 p.m. April 4.
