Bride Charged With Public Intoxication, Breach of Peace on Wedding Day: OMG PD

A Not-so-Blissful Wedding Night in Forest Park
A 43-year-old bride from Chicago was charged with public intoxication and disorderly breach of peace on her wedding day, Saturday, Nov. 16, in Forest Park. 

Police responded to a call about a loud argument in the 7300 block of Circle Avenue about 3 a.m., where the bride, Tina Dobyne, was screaming and yelling at three other women. Police said the argument had moved outside from the post-nuptial celebration at Dobyne's brother's apartment. 

She was arrested after she refused to quiet down and continued to yell and scream up and down the street and said, "arrest me then," police said. She was given a Jan. 8 court date and released.

OAK PARK

Of All Things to Steal, Man Takes Dog Collar, Law & Order DVDs
Police charged Mario Johnson, 41, of Chicago, with theft after police found him in possession of a crack pipe, a dog collar, a pair of gloves and a Law & Order DVD set in an alley in the 0-100 block of South Austin Boulevard about 3:40 a.m. Nov. 19. He was also held for possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Lock Up Your Glock
Someone stole a duffle bag containing clothing, toiletries and a black glock handgun in a locked case with two magazines from an unlocked car in the 1000 block of North Kenilworth Avenue between 10:20 and 10:40 a.m. Nov. 17. The total estimated loss is $789, police said. 

Man Steals More Than Enough 5-Hour Energy Drinks
A man in a blue, orange and white knit hat and a black coat stole 16 extra strength 5-Hour Energy drinks and seven regular 5-Hour-Energy drinks from 7-Eleven, 240 Chicago Ave., about 11:50 p.m. Nov. 14. The total estimated loss is $79, police said. 

LA GRANGE

Drunk Man Goes to Church
Someone called police Nov. 16 to report an intoxicated man at a church in the 100 block of 6th Avenue and that they wanted him to leave. The 58-year-old La Grange Park man was sent on his way.
