Blotter: Screaming in the Night

Here's an item from Patch's coverage of the La Grange and La Grange Park police blotters.

A 21-year-old La Grange Park woman was arrested after La Grange Park police responded to three calls at about 1:15 a.m. Oct. 19 of a female screaming at Beach Oak Park, at the intersection of those two avenues.

Sheri L. Knepple, of the 500 block of Beach Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

A police officer found a couple leaving the park and start walking south while yelling at each other. While later interviewing the woman, later identified as Knepple, the officer said she continue yelling at her boyfriend, a 24-year-old La Grange Park man who was being interviewed by another officer. An officer told her three times to lower her voice. The boyfriend told an officer that she was mad because he did not want to go to her house, prompting the woman to scream and swear, police said.
