Mac Book Gone
A resident of the 0-100 block of Seventh Avenue reported Jan. 8 that after having people over two days earlier they discovered a Mac Book computer worth $1,600 was missing.
Purse Stolen

A La Grange Park woman reported Jan. 6 that her purse had been stolen in the parking lot of Kensington School, 125 N. Kensington Ave. Its contents were not listed.
Minor Drug Charge

An 18-year-old La Grange man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 900 S. Sixth Ave. at about 2:03 p.m. Jan. 8, according to
Police Busy at Parking Garage
La Grange police found a band playing on the top of the parking garage, 80 S. Sixth Ave., at about 6:24 p.m. Jan. 6. They shut down the band for the night, but members said they would contact Village Hall on Jan. 9 to see about getting a permit.
Skateboarders found on the top floor of the parking garage at about 8:28 p.m. Jan. 6 were sent on their way by La Grange police.
A group of kids in the lobby stairway of the parking garage at about 10:15 p.m. Jan. 6 were sent home by police.
Business Concerned
A business on north Kensington Avenue called La Grange police after a man came in at about 5:30 p.m. Jan. 4 to sell candy, but was carrying two bags and apparently no candy. He was wearing a double-hooded sweat jacket, but eventually left. Police will watch the business.
