Blotter: Kid "Borrowed" Medications From Another Peer and More

Kid ‘Borrowed Meds’

La Grange police said March 12 they still are investigating a report four days earlier from a La Grange father that his 16-year-old son got medications from another youth at the Lyons Township High School South Campus in Western Springs. The father was to take his son to Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital.

Eggs Thrown

A resident of the 100 block of south Spring Avenue told La Grange police that someone threw eggs at his house and car between 10 and 11 p.m. March 9.

Dog With Scarf Found

A golden retriever wearing  a scarf was found at Calendar and Hayes  avenues  at about 12:21 p.m. March 10 but was retrieved by its owner before police arrived.

Driver Ticketed

A 17-year-old La Grange Park boy was ticketed at about 6:36 p.m. March 7 after La Grange police said his 2005 Chevrolet Malibu rear-ended a Countryside woman’s 2008 Nissan Altima at Ogden Avenue and La Grange Road.

Surveys bring Tickets

La Grange police issued 16 compliance tickets during traffic surveys that started at 12:16 p.m. March 9 at Ogden and Ashland avenues and another eight state tickets at that same location starting at 3:46 p.m. March 8.
