Here are a few items from the La Grange and La Grange Park police blotters.
Two Refuse Treatment
Both drivers refused transportation to the hospital after their vehicles collided at Maple and Catherine avenues at about 8:11 a.m. Oct. 19. A 34-year-old La Grange man told he was going north on Catherine, halted at Maple at the stop sign, entered the intersection and was hit by another car. The other driver, a 22-year-old La Grange man, said he was going east on Maple when another vehicle pulled in front of him. That second driver said his shoulder was in some pain. No tickets were issued.

The front of a 2005 Ford Taurus was hit while parked at La Grange Road and Burlington Avenue by another vehicle that fled, police learned at about 11 a.m. Oct. 19.
Turning Car in Crash

An 18-year-old La Grange man was ticked for failure to yield while turning left after his car was turning from westbound 47th Street to southbound Sixth Avenue at about 7:04 p.m. Oct. 19 and struck a Cicero man ‘s eastbound car he told police he did not see.
Three Cars in Rear-End Collisions
A 45-year-old Lyons man was ticketed at about 2:07 p.m. Oct. 14 for failure to reduce his speed to avoid an accident while he was going north on La Grange Road just north of 48th Street, said he saw cars slowing or stopped in front of him, but could not stop in time. His BMW hit rear of a Hyundai driven by a 28-year-old Oak Park man that struck a BMW driven by a 64-year-old La Grange Park man.
