Bicyclist in La Grange Hit By Car That Leaves

Here is a list of items taken from the La Grange police blotter.

A tan car fled after hitting a bicyclist on LaGrange Road near the Burlington Northern Railroad tracks at about 8:54 a.m. July 7, according to La Grange police.

The bicyclist from Brookfield continued to Park Junior High in LaGrange, where he was given a ride home. A Brookfield Fire Department ambulance went to his home to treat him.

Lehi Lopez, 31, of Chicago was ticketed for driving while his license is suspended or revoked and two other unidentified traffic violations when La Grange police stopped his vehicle at 54th Street and Eighth Avenue at about 4:29 p.m. July 10.

Hit-and-run reported

A Chicago woman told La Grange police that another vehicle struck the left middle of her 2005 Toyota Sienna at LaGrange Road and Ogden avenues then fled at about 3:34 p.m. July 6.

Motorcycle, pickup collide

A motorcycle collided with a pickup truck at 48th Street and Lagrange Road at about 8:38 a.m. July 8, according to La Grange police. The truck was gone. The motorcyclist refused treatment and was brought home to Countryside, leaving the motorcycle.  

Car hits pole

A car that struck a pole at Ogden and Burlington avenues at about 8:19 a.m. July 9 was towed, according to La Grange  police. No more information was available.
