iTouch Stolen

A woman reported someone stole her daughter's iTouch, worth $300, in the 1000 block of South 7th Avenue about 8:40 p.m.

Squirrel Hit by Car

Someone reported a squirrel was hit by a car and possibly injured about 3:10 p.m. near the intersection of Brainard and Cossitt avenues.

Neighbors Not Being Neighborly

A woman in the 200 block of Washington Avenue reported a verbal argument she was having with a neighbor and that she was already physically attacked about 5:40 p.m.

Friday, September 20

Boy Reports Classmate Chased, Pushed Him 

A boy reported a classmate was chasing and threatening him in the 0-100 block of South La Grange Road about 8 p.m., and then started yelling at him and pushed him while he was talking to police inside Red Mango. No one has been arrested or charged. The incident is still under investigation, police said.

Boy Pulls Knife on Girl 

A woman reported a neighborhood boy pulled out a pocketknife and pointed it at her daughter while her kids were playing in the 800 block of South 7th Avenue.

Bicyclist Hit by Car 

A 55-year-old La Grange woman reported a car hit her while she was riding her bike about 1:45 p.m. near the intersection of Elm Street and La Grange Road. She told police the car crossed over the crosswalk and made contact with the bike.
